NAESC West
Conference 2022
Hosted at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa
Pūpūkahi i Holomua.
The 2022 NAESC West Conference (WRC) will be hosted by ECUH at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa from November 4, 2022 to November 5, 2022. The 2022 WRC will mark the first West Regional Conference to be hosted in-person in three years, and the first West Regional Conference to be hosted in Hawaiʻi in 10 years.
The conference theme is Pūpūkahi i Holomua which can be translated as “Moving forward together”. This saying comes from Native Hawaiians who recognized that the best way to move their canoes forward was by pulling their paddles together on command. We believe this theme reflects the nature of the conference: bringing engineering student leaders together, and through the sharing of knowledge, progress into the future.
ECUH is excited to bring together engineering leaders from across the West Region to our home in the heart of the Pacific as we journey into a new era. We hope to showcase the engineering and leadership excellence that Hawaiʻi has to offer and create a welcoming and enriching environment for student leaders and their engineering councils to move forward together.
